1. Materials Forging/ Ring Rolling Process
---We choose China TOP1 forging factory's raw materials, usage life can be enhanced about 15%. Less impurities and high purity.
2. Rough Lathing Process (Before drilling) / Fine Lathing Process (After finished)
--- We use automatic CNC lathing machine to lathe ring dies/ flat dies.
3. Drilling Holes Process
--- All pellet mill dies are drilled by automatic CNC gun drilling machines to ensure inner holes mirror polishment, good smooth, high polished and good forming.
4. Countersinking, Drilling Screws& Keyway Process
--- All ring dies are countersinked by automatic CNC countersinking machines to ensure its smooth and uniform.

Ring die roller is an important spare part and vulnerable part of pelletizing equipment. Its reasonable use and quality will directly affect the service life of ring parts and the quality of finished pellets.
IKLAY has compiled the following information for your reference. It is helpful to have a deep understanding of its working environment characteristics and the correct use of ring die roller: Pay attention to the adjustment of the gap between the die and roller. If the gap between the ring die and the roller is too large, the roller cannot rotate, causing machine blockage. If the gap between the ring die and the roller is too small, it will increase the wear of the ring die and the roller, increase the load, and cause damage to the ring die and the roller in severe cases.
IKLAY believes that attention should be paid to the correct installation or replacement of the ring die and the roller. Improper matching between the new ring die and the old roller, or between the new roller and the old ring die will result in low output. The principle of matching the new with the new should be adhered to, and the matching of the ring die and the roller should be loose at the front and tight at the back. For the adjustment of the gap between the new ring die and the roller, the highest point of the ring die and the roller should be slightly in contact, and the roller should be in a state of seemingly rotating but not rotating. If the adjustment is made under working conditions, the pressure between the ring die and the roller can be appropriately increased, but it must be stopped in moderation. The gap between the ring die and the roller should be checked in time, at least once every four working hours.
When adjusting each roller, pay attention to the adjustment direction of each roller so that the sum of the torques of each roller relative to the pellet mill shaft is zero, so that the pellet mill is not affected by asymmetric forces. When assembling the roller, pay attention to the inspection of the bearings. If damage is found, it should be replaced in time. After the roller is assembled, a certain gap should be ensured so that the roller can rotate freely. The roller must be oiled on time every shift. Once the roller is short of oil, the bearing and roller shaft will burn out, and in severe cases, the entire roller will be scrapped. Pay attention to the wear of the ring die roller. When the ring die roller reaches a certain service life and needs to be replaced, have you paid attention to its production tonnage, wear status and other data?

1. Production tonnage results: Production tonnage is the basis for estimating costs and production performance.

4. Wear thickness has a great influence on both pellet quality and output.
5. Erosion pitting is a general result of mold corrosion resistance. Corrosion occurs in the pelletizing chamber, which will reduce output.
6. Honeycomb is a manifestation of good wear and stable output of some molds.
7. Calendering is a flattening action that will close the die hole inlet, reduce output and increase compressive stress on the ring die.
8. Notches are formed by strong abrasive materials being worn into grooves in the pelletizing chamber.
9. Damage: Circumferential damage is related to the strength of the ring die; bursting occurs when a part of the ring die falls off the ring die, usually with an annular rupture; flange damage is the result of violent or tensile movement. 10. The clamping surface reflects the state of the matching surface of the die.
